Stephen B. Guy is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® practitioner, a registered principal with the largest independent financial broker-dealer in the country*, LPL Financial and with Householder Group Estate and Retirement Specialists as Registered Investment Advisor. He has been serving through comprehensive financial planning, the greater Boston north suburban community for nearly 30 years. Stephen is well known as a financial educator among his clients, many of whom he has helped fulfill their own dreams, goals and wishes of financial independence by making smart decisions about their money, based on their own definition of what is wealth, independence and purpose for their lives and the lives of their families.

Stephen was honorably discharged from the United States Air Force, after 6 years of service.  Immediately upon separation of service he moved his family of 5 back to the Boston area and was introduced to the world of finance by and in partnership with his father, Matthew Guy, already at IDS Financial Services, Inc. (now known as Ameriprise). Learning and growing in what was becoming a new profession in financial planning, Stephen studied and attained the CFP® mark from the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. in March of 1988. After 10 years with IDS, Stephen began his association with a broker/dealer that was truly independent in all of its research and offerings that allowed him to be confident that the recommendations that were being made came from the greatest array of products and services available at that time. LPL was able to provide that 20 years ago and still provides that today.

Through our financial planning firm, Heritage Wealth Managers, we bring many years worth of experience so that we can provide wisdom, insight and education to empower families to connect their wealth with their purpose. 

Having been in the business of finance for so many years and being small business owners ourselves, we have seen many different market conditions and feel we are uniquely qualified to build long term, trusting relationships, based on our and our clients values and insight and our knowledge.
